Links to other great theatre resources, reviews and information, local and national. My favorite organization in the state is the Colorado Theatre Guild. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit group in Colorado that serves as a fantastic resource for anyone interested in theater in our state. Their mission statement: The Colorado Theatre Guild encourages growth and excellence in live theatre in Colorado through collaborative efforts in education, advocacy and promotion. They offer free and low-cost marketing services for local theaters, discounts on tickets to member theater companies, admission to combined auditions with the DCTC and more. The cost is minimal and more than worth it for the theater fan. Organizational Membership- $60 per year The Colorado Theatre Guild also holds the annual Henry Awards which annual honors achievement in live theater. The first annual Henry Awards, named for long time theatre producer Henry Lowenstein, were held in 2006. They launched the wildly popular "Theatre Night Out" series in 2005 encourages people to attend live theater and offers subscription packages that include shows many local theatre companies at great prices.
