On June 5, The Wizard of Oz opens at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. Candlelight is offering special summer pricing for this family show. Children 12 and younger are free with each regular priced adult ticket and kids 13-18 get a $10 discount off the regular adult price. Enjoy the latest event in PHAMALY’s 20th anniversary season. Man of LaMancha opens July 24 and plays through August 14 at the Space Theater in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Man of La Mancha is directed by Steve Wilson with musical direction by Donna Debreceni and choreography by Cindy Bray and Debbie Stark.
PHAMALY is an award-winning theater company whose mission is to enable persons with disabilities to showcase their talents and abilities through live productions and to make the performing arts more accessible to everyone. Judging by past PHAMALY productions, this show is sure to be a “must-see” this summer.

The final show of Performance Now’s 2008-2009 season, Evita, opens on June 19 at the Lakewood Cultural Center.
Evita is directed by Gary Dean Hathaway and features Richard Moore as Juan Peron, David Kincannon as Che Guevara and Alisa Vaughters as Eva Peron.
